Your NeuroNode Trilogy should be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. We recommend Super Sani-Cloth Germicidal Disposable Wipes for this. While Control Bionics routinely follows these procedures internally, we understand in light of the Covid-19 virus that these best practices may also be extended to our clients as well as their caregivers and facilities.
Please refer to the Sani-Cloth instructions below, “General Guidelines for Use,” for proper dispensation of the wipes. (Other approved germicidal wipes may be used.)
STEP ONE: Wearing protective gloves, wipe down the all exposed surfaces of the device. This may be a two-step process if the device is significantly soiled. It is important to clean the device thoroughly before proceeding to the disinfecting step. You can use commercial cleaners for this purpose; however, check that they are compatible with the surface being cleaned.
STEP TWO: Once the device is completely cleaned, thoroughly apply the disinfectant wipe to all surfaces. Allow the treated surfaces to remain wet per the instructions for the wipes (2 minutes for the Sani-Cloth wipes). Air-dry the surfaces. If using a disinfectant spray, please take care to spray a sanitized cloth and then wipe the device. Do not spray disinfectant directly onto the device.
STEP THREE: Properly dispose of all materials that were used in the cleaning process.
